Frequently Asked Questions
What is KFO360°, and how is it different from traditional orthodontics?
KFO360° is our way of looking at the full picture — not just straightening teeth, but also making sure your jaw joints, muscles, and bite all work together in harmony. It helps us create results that not only look great but also feel better and last longer.
Could my headaches or jaw tension be related to my bite?
It’s very possible. Many people don’t realize that recurring headaches, tense jaw muscles, or even neck pain can be linked to a bite that’s slightly off. That’s why we created a simple 60-second CMD check — just to help you spot if it’s worth getting looked at.
Are invisible aligners as effective as braces?
In most cases, yes! Aligners are a great, discreet option — especially if worn consistently. They’re nearly invisible and easy to manage. During your first consultation, we’ll let you know whether aligners or braces would work best for your situation.
Will my private insurance cover the treatment?
It depends on your insurance plan and what treatment is needed. For kids and teens, most basic treatments are covered. For adults, especially with CMD or more complex needs, some costs may be partially covered. We’ll walk you through everything clearly before you start.
How long does orthodontic treatment usually take?
Every smile is different, but most treatments take between 12 and 24 months. That said, our digital planning helps make the process faster, smoother, and more precise. At your first visit, we’ll give you a realistic timeline based on your exact needs.
